This is not like all the other websites that advertise "Do-it-yourself" termite solutions that end up making you order a termite inspection or buy chemical products from them. This is five files (50 pages) packed so tight with valuable money saving solutions for homeowners that actually teach you how to not need a termite company. First of all Mike, you know who we are, as we have been corresponding recently regarding my recent escrow transaction in Santa Barbara, CA. It's Bill and Denine Belwright and Mike I don't know were to start on the thank you. Our home was on the market for over a year and we finally sold it. We only lived in the house four years total. We figured the cost for termite control would be relatively low due to the fact that the house had a clear termite report when we bought it. Our realtor sent out a company that she recommended and used on a regular basis. He was the first one trusted. I was present during the inspection and the gentleman used diligence in his inspection from my opinion.
He found $5280.00 worth of damage and fumigation costs! I about fell over! We had taken a huge loss due to recent economy and falling house prices. With the fees and commission this was just about enough to finish me off! I asked if he could work with me on the price, he said a little and dropped the $80.00 making it $5200.00 (not good enough.)
I Google everything else, so I figured why not this subject and there you were! You had exactly the answers we needed and in perfect time. As you know we bought your book and Online Help Program for answers. Boy did I get them! The fumigation cost for my home on my report was $3420.00. You showed me how to get it reduced to $1824.00 for the exact same job, technique and gases used as the first company suggested!
The remaining cost of $1780.00 on his quote was for carpentry work. I hired out to a handy man and painted the finished work myself. This total cost was $687.00. I didn't know I could complete the work myself. I thought it had to be done by the company that documented it. I was very wrong. Thank you for showing me I could handle this on my own and for saving us $2733.00!
Oh, I almost forgot, I called the original termite inspector back out, you were right, he gave the property a clearance report and I paid him a small fee of $150.00!! The lender for my buyer didn't even have one question about it, I was shocked and amazed, I really thought it couldn't be done!
One more funny thing happened. Now that I am knowledged in termite control, the house we were buying had termite issues as well. I was able to look over the report provided by the escrow and found they were trying to use secondary treatments when they shouldn't have. I confronted them and said I only wanted primary recommendations completed or I would not buy the house. Without hesitation they did as I asked, with no additional costs, nor did I get taken advantage of ! You saved us over $2500.00 on our sale and who knows how much anguish we would have gone through on our purchase. Can you imagine a year down the road, when I would have been out of warranty, WHAM termites. NOT THIS TIME! My realtor asked how did I know so much about termites, did you work as an inspector before? I said "No, I just bought this book" We truly can't thank you enough! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Thanks for making your book available. My dad and I are sharing a copy. I took your advice and had three free inspections. All in the ball park of $1200.00 to $1600.00.
